Did you know that if you’re holding an air guitar, you can’t be holding a gun? That’s the philosophy behind Air Guitar Canada, a not-for-profit organization of wonderful weirdos who know that if we all learned to take ridiculous things very seriously, we might just be able to achieve world peace. Every year we host a series of regional competitions across Canada, culminating in our national championship event in Toronto. The winner then gets sent on to represent Canada on the world stage on Oulu, Finland. Air Guitar Canada is the only partner organization with the World Air Guitar Championships to dedicate their competitions to raising money for charitable causes.

When we relaunched the event with a single Tournament of Champions post-lockdown in 2024, we wanted a cohesive look across all platforms to recapture our pre-2020 audience and gain some momentum. Going into 2025 with a Canadian World Champion, a full roster of events from Kamloops to Montreal, and a new title sponsor, we wanted to open the doors with a bang to show audiences that you, too, can look this cool while holding absolutely nothing.
